Recently I had the opportunity to work on the "Expand" film directed by Gracie and Bella Hall, for the Coca-Cola Refreshing Films program where students can get opportunities to make projects for the big screen

"Expand" became the first finalist from Boise State University, going on to win the grand prize which shows the piece nationwide to theaters including, Cinemark theatres, AMC theatres, Landmark Cinemas, and Cineplex Cinemas

My job was mostly in post-production doing VFX compositing in After Effects to hide the seams in the wall, as well as adding extra light and covering different parts in the background to hide production assets

I was also able to work on set in the art department setting up posters and preparing popcorn and snacks for the actors to use

I did all the VFX in the film that premiered at the 2025 Julien Dubuque International Film Festival in Iowa

I was also apart of the preproduction stage and helped to influence how  certain scenes could be achieved and heightened with visual effects
